Proven Outcomes

Group Operations Manager - Hired

Steve had always recruited from his industry before but kept getting people coming with “industry baggage”. He was often dragged into operational matters, as is often the case without someone capable handling operations.

It was time for a change.

The candidate Steve hired started as a Branch Manager and was promoted within 6 month to Group Operations Manager. The first appointment was more of a tactical hire. However, the candidate we found for him showed a great deal of strategic nouse, opening the door for him to be promoted to a more central role with greater impact on the group.

Chief Operating Officer
- Hired

Adam is the CEO of a service business in London. He was constantly dragged into operational matters and working more IN the business and not ON the business.

He had never recruited a Chief Operating Officer before. He had the ambition to grow the business but was stuck. He finally realised it was time to bring a senior hire into the board to help him sort the operations out.  

The candidate we recruited for Adam had the perfect profile balance for the role. It allowed Adam to focus on networking, bringing contracts in, safe in the knowledge that the systems and operations are working like clockwork to support his efforts. The turnover for the business has increased from £4m to £6m in 12 months.

Chief Operating Officer- Hired

Suzanne had found a high value candidate through an introduction and wanted to make sure she arrived at the right decision.

We were able to conduct a deep interview with the candidate, profiling the candidate against the role for the right behaviour traits, drilling into relatable experience, the culture and values fit and what the fit would look like in the CEO/COO relationship and determine how close a match the candidate was. ​

Graham led me through the process of recruiting my COO with ease and confidence. He helped me to profile match and interview the candidate, asking the difficult questions that I didn’t want to ask. Being new to hiring a COO, I really did feel I needed someone with Graham’s level of experience in recruiting COOs so that I didn’t make a very expensive mistake.”
